It all started when...

Mia’s bold palette and organic lines reflect a broad spectrum of influences and experiences. Growing up in Philadelphia, she spent much of her youth cultivating plants and observing the varied aesthetics of the natural world. After studying Renaissance art in Florence, Italy, Mia headed off the beaten artistic track to the island of Java, where she immersed herself in the burgeoning Indoniesian street art scene. She completed her Bachelor of Art History degree at Oberlin College. Following brief stints in Telluride and Seattle, Mia came to Santa Fe in 2016, and has enjoyed frolicking amongst the lavender, cholla, and sage ever since.
